Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Autism Central LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, covering your use of Bedtime at bedtime.help. By creating an account you accept them.
Who may use Bedtime
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for your account, for keeping your password secure, and for everything done through your account. Tell us at hi@bedtime.help if you think someone else has access.
What Bedtime does
Bedtime writes and narrates personalised bedtime stories from details you provide. Stories are generated by software. Each story is unique and cannot be reproduced exactly. We aim for stories that are gentle, age-appropriate, and settling, but generated content can occasionally be imperfect, and you should preview or listen alongside a child if that matters to you. See our Story Safety page for how stories are shaped and checked.
Free trial
New accounts include a limited free trial. If you started your trial through a paid plan, your subscription begins automatically at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends. You can cancel at any time during the trial and will not be charged.
Subscriptions, credits, and billing
Plans are billed in advance through Stripe. Current pricing is shown on our pricing page.
- Monthly and yearly plans include a set number of stories per billing period. Unused stories do not carry over.
- Story creditsmay be purchased separately. Credits do not expire while your account is open and are used after your plan’s included stories are exhausted.
- Prices may change. We will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email before a change affects you, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
- Applicable taxes may be added.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for partial periods, except where required by law. If something goes wrong on our side, email hi@bedtime.help— we would rather fix it than argue about it.
Your content and ours
Details you enter about your family remain yours. You grant us the limited licence needed to operate the service — to generate, narrate, store, and deliver stories to you.
Stories generated for you are yours to use for personal, family use: play them, download them, read them aloud. You may not resell them, publish them commercially, or present them as human-authored work for commercial purposes.
The Bedtime name, branding, software, and design are ours and remain ours.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Bedtime to generate content that is unlawful, hateful, sexual, or harmful to children; don’t attempt to circumvent safety measures, extract our prompts or models, scrape the service, resell access, or interfere with its operation. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
Availability
We aim to keep Bedtime running, but we don’t promise uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice and a way to download your stories.
Disclaimers
Bedtime is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Bedtime is entertainment, not therapeutic, educational, or medical advice.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Autism Central LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as the law permits, and nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, with notice where practical. On closure, your right to use the service ends; data handling follows our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of your local law.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email before taking effect. Continuing to use Bedtime after that means you accept the updated terms.
